I am so proud to have this chance to keep Juhuda Avraham Juger’s memory alive
We are proud to announce that Anton celebrated his Bar Mitzvah on 27th November 2021 and is our THOUSANDTH ‘twin.’
A momentous achievement in just ten years since the project was initiated which made an enormous difference to the family.
Marking this occasion Anton was presented with a special certificate and a personalised Yahzeit candle holder dedicated to his ‘twin’ Yehuda Avraham Juger. These were presented to him by his Rabbi..
Anton now joins a thousand young adults in keeping the memory alive of the thousand young children who were denied this milestone in their life.
A message from Anton
27 November 2021
I chose to twin my Bar Mitzvah with a boy called Jehuda Avraham Juger. My Hebrew name is also Yehuda Avraham ben Aaron after my great Grandpa Mark . I am so proud to have this chance to keep Juhuda Avraham Juger’s memory alive. He was from Czechoslovakia and was just 11 years old when he died in Auschwitz. He never had the chance to live his life and by twinning my Bar Mitzvah I have become the guardian of his memory which is really special to me.
I am also very proud to be the 1000th twinning and hope that many more children do the same so that the children who died will never be forgotten.
