The Jewish Revolt – A Warsaw Ghetto Exhibition
Don’t miss this extraordinary evening of history, remembrance, and discovery
Yad Vashem UK together with JW3 invite you to the exclusive launch of The Jewish Revolt, Rachel Auerbach’s harrowing first-hand account of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, now available in English for the first time. Auerbach’s searing narrative captures the bravery, defiance, and unimaginable suffering of a Jewish community fighting for survival during the Nazis’ final assault on Passover 1943.
This powerful book showcases Auerbach’s moving reflections Yizker and A Grave Marker as well as the striking Yellow Star photo essay, a rare collection of photographs where, for the first time, artificial intelligence has uncovered the identities of those captured in these unforgettable images, restoring their names and stories to history.
The event will feature a panel discussion with Rachel Riley, Professor Polonsky, Mark Forstater, and other distinguished speakers, alongside special reflections from Stephen Fry. In a poignant tribute, the music of Josima Feldschuh, a 13-year-old musical prodigy from the Warsaw Ghetto, will be performed, accompanied by a reading of a poem by Binem Heller, bringing the voices of the past to life through art and commemoration.
Light refreshments will be provided
